Since we need to wait for your promo materials to reach us before we can design your website, we don't offer an online signup service. Instead, contact us on sales@musicsitepro.com
We'll email you back with a checklist of what you'll need to do to get your MusicSitePro website up and running. Typically, we can have your website with a basic design up in 48 hours. If you're buying a new domain name (like www.myband.com) this takes a little longer, since we have to wait for the domain changes to take effect. To use MusicSitePro you will need to buy a domain name such as www.myband.com - this is the address or URL (Uniform Resource Locator) that people type into their web browser when they want to visit your site. It's also the address that search engines like Google visit when they index your site. Using your own domain name with MusicSitePro couldn't be simpler - we take all the pain out of the process for you.
If you already own the domain name you want to use
Simply contact the company you bought the domain name from and ask them to point the A record for the domain name to 68.178.139.97. Many domain name vendors will provide you with an online control panel that allows you make this change yourself. Then simply email us on info@musicsitepro.com and tell us the domain name, and we'll configure your MusicSitePro to appear at that address. Done.
Alternatively, we can transfer your domain name to our registrar if you prefer, and manage it for you. See our page on Transferring your domain name to MusicSitepro.
If you don't currently own a domain name
Just tell us the domain name you want. We'll check it's available, buy it for you and set everything up. Done.

If you buy your domain name from us, or decide to transfer it to us, we can offer you free basic email, with an email address on your domain (like info@myband.com). We'll give you a webmail client, so you can get your mail anywhere, and also a POP account so you can use your regular email program (like Outlook or Thunderbird). If you want to have the domain email but don't want to check it separately, we can auto-forward it to an address of your choice. If you wish, we can make your email a "catch-all" account; that is, all mail sent to anyaddress@myband.com will be caught and forwarded.
If you don't have your domain with us, however, we can't offer this service, or set up your mail for you. | |
